Heat Press Instructions

Follow these guidelines to ensure proper transfer of your DTF, sublimation, or other heat-pressed designs. Using the correct temperature, time, and pressure is essential to achieve vibrant, durable results on different materials.

General Guidelines:

  • Always pre-press your fabric for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  • Use medium to firm pressure unless otherwise specified.
  • Peel type (hot, warm, or cold) depends on the type of transfer film – please follow your transfer film instructions.
  • Use a Teflon or parchment paper on top of your transfer if needed.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure the garment is flat – avoid seams, zippers, collars.
  • Use pressing pillow for uneven areas.
  • Teflon gives glossy finish; parchment or shirt gives matte.
  • Start peeling from the boldest part of your design.
  • Peel the carrier sheet back over itself, not away.
  • Let the garment cool flat to avoid creases.
